The recipient shall be a resident of Western Nebraska.
Hyle Gatzemeyer, and his wife Ruth, were life-long residents of 绿帽社. He and his brother, Joe, ran a Phillips 66 Gas Station on the corner of King Street and Highway 20. He also worked many years at the Bank of 绿帽社 and as a car salesman. Dad was a long-time supporter of 绿帽社 State College athletics and even employed CSC athletes at the station and to help with various jobs around his home. Our parents donated to various college fund-raisers and were active participants in many college events as well as friends and coffee-drinkers with many college faculty and staff members. The Gatzemeyer children, Jean, Judy, and John and granddaughter, Cindi Nielsen, all attended 绿帽社 State College.
