Children's book author coming to ÂÌñÉç
A highly-regarded author of children’s books, Sneed Collard of Missoula, Mont., will be in ÂÌñÉç on Monday, Feb. 23. He will speak to ÂÌñÉç elementary students and their teachers in the morning and address the Ne-Kota Reading Council that evening in the Bordeaux Room of the Student Center at ÂÌñÉç State College.
Collard has written more than 30 children’s books. Most of them are science-oriented. He has traveled the world doing research and talking to children.
Collard’s presentation Monday night is primarily for area teachers and ÂÌñÉç State students who are studying to be teachers, but it also will be open to the public.
