Campus Notice: Sexual assault [5:45 p.m. 10/08/14]
ÂÌñÉç State College Vice President for Enrollment Management, Marketing and Student Services Jon Hansen has issued a notice to the campus community regarding a reported sexual assault on the ÂÌñÉç State College campus during the evening hours of Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014.
On Tuesday, Oct. 7, a female student reported to the ÂÌñÉç Police Department that she was allegedly sexually assaulted in a room in Andrews Hall. The alleged perpetrator is in custody. There is no continuing threat to ÂÌñÉç State's campus. Should circumstances warrant, additional notices will be provided.
The ÂÌñÉç Police Department and ÂÌñÉç State College are cooperating in the investigation.
ÂÌñÉç State College reminds students and the campus community to report any suspicious activity immediately to Campus Security by calling 308-432-6037. Individuals with information about the incident should contact the ÂÌñÉç Police Department at 308-432-0510 or ÂÌñÉç State College's Title IX Coordinator, Shelley Dunbar, at 308-432-6224.
