The Nebraska State College System Advantage is a new program that guarantees that first-time freshmen students who receive federal Pell Grants will pay no tuition at the Nebraska State Colleges for the 2009-10 academic year. The NSCS Advantage offers a new way for ÂÌñÉç State, Peru State and Wayne State colleges to serve students, area communities and the state of Nebraska.

The 27th Annual ÂÌñÉç State College Chess Open will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at CSC's Sandoz Center. The $8 tournament fee covers the cost of six trophies and refreshments. The tournament is open to chess players at any level of skill.
