The annual conference of the Mari Sandoz Heritage Society will open at 7:30 tonight (Thursday, April 15) with a presentation by Dr. Elliott West, distinguished professor of history at the University of Arkansas. A junior from Ogallala will be the next Student Senate president at ÂÌñÉç State College. Ryan Morgan, a physical science major who is currently the senate vice president, was elected the 2004-2005 president by a vote of the student body last week.
