LINCOLN – The Board of Trustees announced four finalists in the search for the 12th president of ÂÌñÉç State College. After serving 10 years as ÂÌñÉç State President, Dr. Randy Rhine will retire June 30.

LINCOLN – The Nebraska State Colleges Board of Trustees has selected Dr. Mary Keithly as the 2023 Teaching Excellence Award recipient for the Nebraska State College System. Keithly was selected during the Board of Trustees meeting March 23, 2023, and will be celebrated during the spring commencement ceremony at ÂÌñÉç State College.

CHADRON – A team of Rural Business Leadership Initiative students who won a pitch contest and a grant for a civic improvement project is working with ÂÌñÉç High School students. The team members hope to transform their vision of better wayfinding on C-Hill into a reality.

CHADRON – The 2023 Senior Art Show, Meandering Visions, opens Monday in the Memorial Hall Main Gallery. The show is open through March 31 from Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The artists will host a closing reception 4-6 p.m. March 31 in Memorial Hall’s Lobby.

CHADRON – ÂÌñÉç State College’s 11th annual The Big Event (TBE) will take place April 15, according to TBE Graduate Assistant Kinsey Smith of Windsor, Colorado. The event will be from 9 a.m. to noon, originating on campus and then fanning out in the community.
